Organization Info:  Since 1967, Senior Resources, a non-profit organization, has provided a variety of choices to Midlands seniors and their families by offering established programs for home care, transportation, senior volunteers, meal delivery, and much more. Most of us will need support at some stage of our lives, either temporary or long-term. Senior Resources is here to offer that assistance.

Description of Needs:  Volunteers needed to deliver hot, nutritious midday meals to homebound seniors in Richland County (Meals on Wheels program); volunteers needed to organize, collect and deliver pet food for pets of homebound seniors (Pets in Need program); volunteers needed to work through Senior Resources’ RSVP program at other nonprofits, businesses, schools, organizations, and hospitals in the Midlands; volunteers to assist in various fundraising and related activities.

Organization Info:  Youth Corps is a leadership training experience for outstanding 9th and 10th grade students in the Midlands. Youth Corps is based on the conviction that high school young people need to be educated and equipped for decision-making positions in the public, private and independent sectors, building a unified body of young people prepared for future involvement in community leadership.

Description of Needs: Volunteers needed for behind-the-scenes assistance with a variety of daily office operations.
