Partners for Promise is not a group, an organization or an agency.

Simply put, it is an online resource through which diverse non-profits, service organizations and community groups across the Midlands of South Carolina can identify their respective needs and resources, contact one another, and work to bring together those needs and resources to more effectively carry out their individual missions.

Partnership through Partners for Promise can lead to a more promising future for these organizations, those they serve and the community as a whole.

THE WEBSITE

On the P4P site, users will find listings of a variety of non-profits and other organizations with needs, along with information on each organization’s mission, a description of their volunteer and/or programmatic needs, and their contact information.

Partners for Promise site users will also find a separate set of listings of other community-based organizations, complete with information on their particular missions and goals, a description of the resources they have at their disposal, as well as their contact information.

THE GOAL

The goal of Partners for Promise is essentially to act as an introduction, allowing various community groups to pool their resources and achieve their programmatic goals.

Through this approach of matching “one from Column A and one from Column B,” the organizations listing themselves on the P4P website can enter into effective (and ideally self-perpetuating) partnerships having lasting and positive impact on the individual organizations and the people and communities they serve.
